Friday 13th January 2023

This week we visited Maidenhead Mosque - the children experienced true awe and wonder as they stepped inside, learning facts about the building, having a go at a prayer routine and thinking about the role of the mosque within the Islam community.

Red Kites have been working hard on using formal language to create their estate agents advertisements; the vocabulary, persuasive features used to create effective sentences has been impressive! Well done!

A huge well done to all of Red Kites for their hard work in maths this week - they have worked their socks off in long division and have been quite enjoying the challenge!

Thankfully, the sun came out for our tag rugby lesson this afternoon - the children showed great team spirit during their matches! We have also started our dance unit where the children showed great rhythm to the carnival themed music!

Finally, thank you to all parents who joined us for the Red Kites Catch up meeting.
