The Department for Education announced changes to relationships and sex education (RSE).
These changes came into effect from September 2020 and all schools are required to comply with the updated requirements. This means that we’ve been reviewing our RSE curriculum and policy so we can be sure our RSE provision is appropriate for our pupils. Click on the buttons below for more information about RSE.
We asked our parents and carers what their views were about RSE using a survey and also invited them to discuss their thoughts further through a meeting.
We also asked staff and the governors what their views were. As a result, the RSE policy was created.
