This week, we have be learning about compassion and how it is show by millions this time of year in the form of Children in Need.
We learned about Children in Need and discussed different stories and causes that Children in Need help, and why certain children may need help and how we can help them.
We looked at these examples of how Children in Need helps people.
Stable Life Isla and Eleanor’s Story The furry friends keeping children safe.
We then thought about how we could help and what we are grateful for in our lives - things that some less fortunate may not have the privilege of.
“A happy life brings a happy mind.”
We have also been learning - through the use of drama - how to use dialogue effectively to show a character’s emotions.
In Maths we have been learning about factors: what they are and how to find them.
We have also being learning about light, what a light source is and how it helps us to see.
Through Art, we have been learning how to work cooperatively (like Tina and Tim) to start create a large scale class image of a starry night.
We have also spent time this week developing our understanding of the skills we were learning in drama:
Listen Focus Connect
and how we can use them in all aspects of everyday life in order to lead a happy and fulfilled life, to quote R.H from the class again.
“A happy life brings a happy mind.”
