This week we began by reflecting on our Theater trip last Friday to see the Jungle Book.
We have also been learning about newspaper articles, starting off with reading an article about Mowgli going missing, in order to identify the features.
This week there has been lots of ‘special days’ and we have been learning about Saint Andrew and why we celebrate him; we began to get into the festive spirit on Tuesday with our classroom being decorated; and we have been learning about the festival of Christingle - why we celebrate it and what what it’s symbol is. We also had a go at making our our Christingles - Led by our worship leader.
We have also been learning the French alphabet and some French verbs.
We also learned about reflection and the angle of incidence and reflection and how they are always equal.
As well as learning about Ancient Greek architecture and its influence on more modern design in the UK.
We have also been progressing with our Night Night combined paintings which are now finished (mostly)..
We then had a group discussion evaluating its effectiveness (led by our Arts Leader).
