End Of Term 1

On Monday we start Term 2 and what an exciting term we have ahead of us but before we get there let us take a look back at Term 1.

Some of the highlights were….

·       Growing in confidence on the Adventure Playground

·       Experiencing a busy Home Corner

·       Experiencing an even busier ‘call centre’ the phone did not stop ringing some

days!

·       Free Flow play indoors and outdoors – lots of it too!

·       Playdough

·       Cutting, sticking, gluing

·       Junk modelling

·       Library – borrowing a book from the school library

·       Daily Phonics

·       A phonics workshop

·       Daily Maths

·       Counting, matching, sorting,

·       Mark making

·       Letter formation

·       Name writing

·       Toothbrushing – a visit from the dentist

·       Star gazing – a visit from Newbury Astronomical Society

·       Welly Walks

·       A trip to Trindledown

·       Taking part in our first performance at Harvest – we were great!

·       Pantomimus – tapping, clapping, singing

……the list goes on – why not take a look instead!

If you think that was a busy term – we have even more planned for next term including Diwali, Guy Fawkes, Remembrance Day, St Andrew’s Day, Christingle, Advent and of course – our Nativity performance!
