Spring 2 Week 3

Another busy week here in Red Kites. The children have been working their socks off in maths, we’re really seeing an improvement in arithmetic and mental maths strategies. Well done! In writing, we have been developing our understanding of sentence structures for a non-chronological report through sentence stacking; explaining who Buffon and Lamarck (scientists) were and what their theories were about. Today the children have been thrilled to do their Free Write’s and wow, we have some excellent writers in class! What’s brilliant is how they want to share their pieces and also listen to each others. Many rounds of applauses for all Red Kites writers today!

Snow in the village brought much excitement on Wednesday!
