Owls have had a busy two days back in class getting used to new routines and thinking about the learning behaviours that make us Owls! Everyone agreed it was good to be back together and enjoyed being archaeologists, digging for evidence, as we thought about our new history topic - The Romans.
In science we have started thinking about light, what types of light there are, how these are used and how light can be dangerous.
We have also started some descriptive passages linked to our class text ‘Escape from Pompeii’ for our English unit. Owls are going to develop their descriptive writing over the next few weeks through drama, reading and group work.
