The title of our blog links to our maths learning this week. We explored the difference between equal and unequal groups, as well as how to redistribute unequal groups to make them equal.
In English, we explored the features used in a newspaper report and discussed the details needed.
In Science, we planted 5 seeds in different conditions and for the next 3 weeks we will observe which seeds grow. Is it possible to grow a cress seed in the dark?
In RE, we used our learning of how New Year is celebrated by both Christians and Jewish people to make comparisons. We worked in teams to recall our learning and created images to represent their celebrations.
In PE, we explored what Speed Stacking is. We learnt a 3-3-3 stack formation and started to learn a 3-6-3 formation. Kingfishers applied their team working skills to support each other in learning something new. Well done, Kingfishers!
