Our second full week back

We have had another busy week in Kingfishers class learning lots of new things.

In English, we have been learning all about how to form and punctuate sentences. We used our class story to help us to come up with lots of thoughts for some amazing sentences.

Here are some of us practising how to form and punctuate sentences:

In science, we went on an objects hunt. We looked at different objects in the school grounds and discussed the suitability of the material used. I wonder why wood is used for a bench, is there a better material we could use?

In French, we started to learn about the inventor of the hot air balloon. Can you remember the name of the story we read?
