We finally made it! Having postponed the trip to the gurdwara in Slough last term, we were all looking forward to our day out. We learnt from the art in the gallery.

  • Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s message was that God (Waheguru) is everywhere

  • Sri Guru Amar Das Ji fought for everyone being treated equally

  • Sikhs are taught to be kind to everyone

  • Sikhs wear the 5 Ks because it is like a uniform to let people know that they follow the Sikh faith and it reminds them to follow it all the time for example by being kind and treating people equally

Ask us what sewa, Waheguru, langar and Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji are!

Thank you so much to our amazing hosts - we felt very welcome and learnt so much. And the dahl and flatbread were delicious!

The ‘Week Wonder’ is to take part in the Reading BINGO! See the newsletter for details! And also to read through the play ‘Exit’ again so you know it well!
