Week 5 in Red Kites

This week has all been about our ‘leader speeches’ and wow, what an impressive and inspiring group of young leaders we have in Red Kites. Well done to all of your for the incredible hard work. The children used persuasive devices in their speeches and showed immense courage delivering them to the school. Congratulations to all of you for the positions you have been awarded.

This week we have also spent time developing our class worship time and prayer space.

We agreed that our tall pillar candle will represent our Christian Value: Courage. Our multi-coloured candle will represent our feelings and the smaller candle will represent a special person or animal to us.

In other learning, we are continuing to reflect on our residential trip and deepen our geographical knowledge through studying the topographical features of Shropshire. We will be visiting a local hill very soon - more information will be sent out soon. We are also two weeks into our swimming sessions.

Well done Red Kites, and thank you to parents for your continued support this week, especially regarding the speeches. It’s amazing how much these roles have meant to the children, they have put their all into them and we are so proud of them.

Have a wonderful weekend, enjoy the seasonal changes and take care.
