A twist in the story

Our learning has WOWED Miss Rignall, Mrs Oberholzer and Mrs Dale this week.

In English, we wrote an alternative ending to the story How to catch a star.

There were lots of incredible stories, here are some examples below:

In Maths, we have been focusing on Place Value for the last few weeks.

Miss Rignall’s math group have been exploring which numbers are more than, less than or equal to another number.

We are practising to give reasons for our answers using a given sentence stem such as:

I know that… because…

If… then…

Mrs Oberholzer’s group have been using part-whole models and place value charts to represent numbers to 100 as well as learning how to explain our answers using sentence stems such as I know because….. or I agree because…

In RE, we have been looking at the story The Lost Sheep and discussing how we are special.

This week we retold the story using a storyboard.
